Fergana Refinery consistently develops a system for training future specialists in the oil and gas industry. One of the key areas of this work is the organization of industrial internships for university students. Citizens of Uzbekistan studying abroad also have the opportunity to gain practical skills at the enterprise.

During the large-scale modernization of production and the construction of new technological facilities, the enterprise actively expands cooperation with universities in Uzbekistan and abroad. Special attention is paid to training qualified personnel for the industry. The refinery also organizes internships for university and college teachers, which helps strengthen the connection between education and industry.

Interest in cooperation was shown by Osh Technological University (specialty: “Chemical Technology”) and Namangan State Technical University (specialty: “Oil and Gas”). An educational tour of FNPZ’s production facilities was organized for students and teachers. Company specialists introduced the guests to key stages of the oil refining process, demonstrated the operation of modern technological equipment, and answered students’ questions.

“Industrial internships play an important role in the professional development of future specialists. They help students consolidate theoretical knowledge and see how it is applied in a modern industrial enterprise. Such experiences allow young people to better understand the specifics of the oil refining industry and make a more informed choice regarding their future profession”, - noted Nasiba Shodmonova, Head of the Training and Personnel Development Department at FNPZ.
These events help students become more familiar with modern production and contribute to the preparation of a new generation of specialists for the oil and gas industry.
