Fergana Oil Refinery diversifies crude oil supply sources and increases diesel fuel production

News EN Hits: 18

The expansion of Fergana Oil Refinery’s feedstock base has enabled the company to increase diesel fuel production by 53.3%. The current figure is significantly higher than the level recorded in May.

The refinery continues to expand its feedstock base and increase processing volumes to ensure the stable utilization of its production capacities.

As part of its feedstock supply diversification strategy, the refinery sources raw materials from various suppliers, including locally produced gas condensate and imported Russian crude oil. The possibility of sourcing feedstock from small oil refineries in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan is also being explored.

The production process is also set to incorporate synthetic diesel fractions produced using GTL technology.

Overall, the company plans to gradually increase the utilization rate of its production capacities to 85% while expanding output of petroleum products that are in high demand on the market.

Diversification of feedstock sources and a consistent increase in processing volumes provide a solid foundation for the refinery’s sustainable operations and ensure a stable supply of petroleum products.
