In August, the refinery significantly increased its aviation kerosene production volumes. Against a planned 7.8 thousand tonnes, the refinery produced 11.2 thousand tonnes, achieving 143.6% of the planned target.
Considering that 15.8 thousand tonnes of aviation kerosene were produced at the facility during January–July, the average monthly production volume increased fivefold.
It should be recalled that the Fergana Oil Refinery has completed research and qualification tests for the production of JET A-1 aviation kerosene using synthetic GTL kerosene. The enterprise has obtained all the necessary permits and approvals.
In view of the production results achieved, the refinery’s annual target for aviation kerosene production has been increased from 74.0 thousand tonnes to 85.6 thousand tonnes. This is 11.6 thousand tonnes, or 15.7%, above the initial target.
The expected additional revenue from the sale of the increased production volume is estimated at UZS 164 billion.
The results achieved demonstrate that the refinery’s strategy of increasing refining depth and expanding its range of high-tech products is delivering a tangible economic effect. The Fergana Oil Refinery will continue to increase production of JET A-1 aviation kerosene, strengthening the position of Uzbekistan’s domestic oil refining industry and contributing to the country’s fuel independence.
