The football club Neftchi Farg‘ona confidently kicked off the new football season in the country. The club’s key sponsor and reliable partner is our Fergana Oil Refinery. The team claimed the prestigious trophy - the Uzbekistan Super Cup.
The decisive match took place on March 15 at Bobur Arena in Andijan. Competing for the main trophy were last season’s Uzbekistan Super League champion - “Neftchi” - and the Cup winner - Pakhtakor Tashkent.
The only goal of the match was scored by forward Ferreira in the 17th minute. This precise strike brought “Neftchi” a 1:0 victory and made the team the 2026 Super Cup winner.
The Super Cup traditionally opens the football season in the country, bringing together the strongest teams - the league champion and the national cup winner. Over the years, the leading clubs in Uzbekistan have won the trophy: Nasaf Qarshi - 4 wins, Lokomotiv Tashkent - 2 wins, Bunyodkor Tashkent and Navbahor Namangan - 1 win each.
